FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Does Bovolab save my HTML files?

Bovolab does not upload your HTML. The editor can save the latest draft in your own browser's IndexedDB for recovery. You can delete it using Clear Draft. Browser data deletion or private mode may remove drafts. Normal web-server access logs may still exist.

Why are scripts not running in the preview?

The preview deliberately disables JavaScript to keep untrusted HTML separate from the editor. The downloaded HTML preserves your scripts unchanged unless you edit them.

Why are some images or styles missing?

External resources are disabled by default. You can enable external assets to load web-hosted images and CSS, but relative paths require a valid original website location. Enabling them lets remote websites receive requests from your browser.

Is this a complete website builder?

No. HTML Editor is designed to edit one page at a time. It does not host projects, manage multi-file folders, or run a backend.
